Description

City of Los Angeles is conducting G775/191 in a combined 3-day long course, teaching CSTI content on the EOC and ICS while introducing responders to the basics of how to work at the City of Los Angeles’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

EOC Management and Operations (G775): This course focuses on Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Management and Operations with an emphasis on the City of Los Angeles. Content includes Multiagency Coordination System (MACS), EOC design, EOC staffing, and activating and deactivating the EOC.

Incident Command System/Emergency Operations Center Interface (G191): This course provides participants with an understanding of the ICS/EOC interface with an emphasis on the City of Los Angeles. Content includes an overview of ICS and MACS; activities to discuss, apply, and validate workshop concepts; the role of Department Operations Centers (DOCs); and ideas & processes for effective ICS and EOC interface.

Emergency Operations Center Position Credentialing Program: G775 & G191 are baseline courses for all EOC Positions in the State of California, Office of Emergency Services, Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Credentialing Program.
