Event description

Description

2017 is a New York City-wide election year and an important moment for New Yorkers to decide who will represent their interests in City Government. To better ensure that voters hear from those seeking to represent them, Food Bank For New York City and Gotham Gazette will present a Candidate Forums for City Council District 41. We’re pleased that Ben Max, Executive Editor of Gotham Gazette, will moderate the forum.

In partnership with local member emergency food agencies, the City Council Candidate Forum Series will cover hunger, poverty and a range of issues of importance in the local community and provide an opportunity for voters to learn about and meet the candidates.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, event begins at 7:00 PM
