Description
American citizenship provides many privileges and protections: the right to vote, security against deportation, ability to bring more family to the U.S., increased job opportunities and more. At this workshop, you will get help from a Department of Justice recognized organization to apply for citizenship, submit fee waivers, and prepare for the naturalization interview.
Event details:
On the day of the workshop, we will:
- Prepare your citizenship/naturalization application (N-400)
- Complete your Fee Waiver or Reduced Fee request (I-912 or I-942), if applicable
- Provide guidance on the naturalization process
- Afterwards, your case will be reviewed, filed and expertly managed by a Department of Justice accredited representative who will serve as your legal representative with USCIS, alert you to updates in your case, and provide you trusted advice throughout the entire process

Who is organizing this event?
This workshop is organized by the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The IRC is a non-profit organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and its accredited staff are authorized to provide immigration and citizenship legal services. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, today the IRC is at work in over 40 countries worldwide and 26 U.S. cities.
