Description

The first of a series of briefings and discussions around key policy concerns, how they impact on Salford; its residents, and its policy makers. We start with an exploration of Universal Credit, how campaigning has influenced its roll out, and what policy and delivery challenges lie ahead.

We will be joined by speakers: Kayley Hignell, Head of Policy (Families, Welfare & Work) National Citizens Advice; Dale Eccleston - Citizens Advice Salford Universal Credit lead; Katy Jones, Research Fellow, University of Salford, Sustainable Housing & Urban Studies Unit; Steven Fry, Salford City Council's digital business lead.
