Event description
This 2 hour event will include subject-matter experts discussing the topic of voting in America with voters from around the country.

About this event

We are thrilled to welcome special guest speakers Barbara R. Arnwine, esq (President & Founder of the Transformative Justice Coalition) , Professor Lisa Tetrault (Professor and renowned author specializing in the history of gender, race, and American democracy) and Christopher Deschene (Frm AZ Representative, Veteran, federal Indian and tribal law expert) for our first Citizen Engagement Forum event of 2022. Our distinguished panel will be discussing the history of voting rights in America, highlighting the challenges some disenfranchised communities have faced to have their voices heard.

Our goal is to provide a non-partisan opportunity to get a comprehensive and inclusive look at what voting looks like in our country as a starting point for the work we do to ensure a more representative and accountable government.
