Local girls ages 11-17 are invited to discover how they can change the world through multimedia arts & technology. Girls are invited to get an insider sneak peek with PBS and Latinitas to make their own video production. Girls will get ready for an audio-visual adventure as they go behind the scenes to see what it takes to produce their own short film. Participants will learn skills such as writing a script, acting, filming and video editing to implement their campaign and much more. They will create their own skit and make their video debut. Girls will engage in video making, podcasting and other activities to get their media message out to the world. Aside from these fun activities, professional women in various media industries will be presenting a career panel to empower these young girls. Join us for a day of creating media and empowering the local girls. Girls should bring $5 for lunch. For more information, call 915.219.8554, email email@example.com or visit http://laslatinitas.com.
