Cinco de Mayo
Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
Cinco de Mayo signifies Mexican Independance Day and the entire country celebrates. We'll do the same with a class featuring some of the country's favorite foods.
Ceviche de Camarones - Using acid from citrus juices cooks the shrimp perfectly
Frijoles Borrachos - The classic drunken beans are tender and savory with just a spike of heat.
Chile Braised Pork - Fork tender and ready for tortillas
Hand Made Tortillas - So simple yet superior to any store bought tortilla. Perfect for any filling.
Mango Serrano Salsa - The colors of the Mexican flag are represented in this condiment with a bit of sweetness from mangos.
Buenelos - The classic Mexican doughnut is the delicious end to our meal.
Cost is $75. Class begins at 5pm and ends at approximately 8pm.
