$60-75 VIP (includes reserved seating section, express entry to venue, t-shirt, 2 drinks)
Special performances by: Amanda Perez, Bone, Brenton Wood, Dev, Nef the Pharaoh, Teeflii, Mariachi America de Sacramento, Mistura Brasileira Samba Dance Co. Along with performances from some up and coming local performers and speakers!
Kids: Kids play zone, Pinatas, Jump Houses and more! KIDS 8 & UNDER ARE FREE!
For the 21+: Happy Hour 2pm-4pm Buy 2 for 1 drinks (of equal or lesser value) and $2 Tacos (from select vendors)
Food Vendors: There will be many food vendors on site serving up some delicious authentic food
Other Vendors: Merchandise booths will be on site for you to purchase different items from throughout the day. Informational Booths will provide you with valuable info about services, businesses and other happenings within the Stockton community.
We are having the Cinco de Mayo Block Party & Concert in downtown Stockton at the Weber Point Events Center.
Part of the proceeds go to the Dwight Johnson Scholarship Foundation. Providing funds/scholarships to High School Seniors in the Stockton area.
Featuring some of the area’s best local music bands. Spend the evening dancing to your favorite latin, banda, mariachi, pop, r&b and hip-hop jams.
Dwight Johnson Scholarship Foundation is proud to present the 1st annual "Cinco de Mayo Block Party & Concert". By purchasing a ticket you will be taking a part in sending a high school senior on a great path to success in fulfilling their dreams. Funds raised through this festival will support some students with opportunities that they may have had to pass up due to the lack of funds for schooling and vocational programs that can help furthur their education.
ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
BRENTON WOOD Brenton Wood's charmingly unpredictable phrasing and his infectious sense of good times made the smooth uptown soul of "The Oogum Boogum Song", "I'm Your Puppet", "Me & You" and "Gimme Little Sign" into hits in the 60s & 70s. Those songs became genuine R&B classics of their era.
AMANDA PEREZ Amanda Perez is a female R&B singer-songwriter and record producer of Mexican descent. Amanda Perez was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her debut album "Where U At?" was released in 2002 and included the singles "Never" and "Angel". "Never" peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 sales chart. Later she released hit songs, "I Pray" & Candy Kisses".
DEV Devin Star Tailes (born July 2, 1989), better known as Dev, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, model and radio host. Dev was signed to Universal Republic in October 2010, and released her debut single "Bass Down Low" in November 16, 2010 which reached the top 10 in the United Kingdom. Her debut album The Night the Sun Came Up was released on March 27, 2012. The second single, "In the Dark", peaked at number 11 in the US chart, making it her most successful solo single to date. Dev in 2014 released two EPs, Bittersweet July and the second part as a follow up to part one. She's a radio host of the popular radio Beats 1 by Apple, founded in 2015. In mid 2016, Dev started promoting her album with an opening single called #1 featuring Nef The Pharaoh which reached the top 15 on the Billboard Rhythmic songs chart.
NEF THE PHARAOH Nef The Pharaoh is an American rapper from Vallejo, California. He went to Inderkum High School in Sacramento,California. He mostly collaborated with fellow hip hop artist E-40. In 2014 he was selected by fans as the "Bay Area Freshman of the Year" in a yearly contest held by Thizzler.com. In early 2015, his track "Big Tymin'" became a regional hit, with a music video released shortly after Nef the Pharaoh signed with Sick Wid It Records. "Big Tymin'" was remixed by YG and Ty Dolla $ign in July 2015, and his self-titled debut EP was released on Sick Wid It on November 6, 2015. He has performed live on radio stations such as KMEL-FM and Power 106, and is currently working on a full-length debut album titled My Great Impression, too.
TEEFLII TeeFLii, is an American singer, songwriter, and Record producer from South Central, Los Angeles, California. He is currently signed to Epic Records. He is best known for his debut commercial single "24 Hours", which was premiered in March 2014, and features 2 Chainz and "This D". His debut studio album Starr was released February 3, 2015 by Epic Records.

MISTURA BRASILEIRA SAMBA DANCE CO. Brings excitement and authentic Brazilian flavor to the Sacramento area.From the movements of the goddess, to the great influences from Afro-Brazilian culture, to the pulsating rhythms of Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval, Mistura Brasileira delivers a grand performance.

Open to all ages. Kids 8 and under are free.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available in many areas outside the venue. Venue parking lot will not be available to the public the day of this event.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds. Concert will happen rain or shine
Do you allow in and out privileges?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
•No, just download the Eventbrite app to your phone and login in. Your tickets will be saved there. Or you can have the ticket saved into your Apple Wallet/Passbook. You can also bring up the email or PDF on your phone and we can scan you in right there! Printed tickets are more than welcome. Must have valid matching ID

•For online payments, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
*We accept CASH ONLY the day of the event, at the front gate & throughtout the park. We have limited cash, so please bring exact change if possible.
I forgot to purchase ahead of time, is there a Will Call or Box Office?

We are dedicated to providing a high quality entertainment experience. Guests who do not choose to abide by our policies will be ejected from the arena and off the premises. Ejections are documented and anyone ejected from the arena may be banned from future events. The purpose of our policies is to help ensure that all guests enjoy a positive and safe experience.
The following rules and regulations will be enforced for all ticketed guest at the concert. All individuals and their belongings are subject to search. The following information is subject to change without notice;
•Any outside food or beverages; i.e. cans, glass bottles or alcoholic beverages
•Coolers of any size
•Pets (with the exception to service animals)
•Weapons of any kind (including silverware)
•Bullhorns, klaxons, whistles, or any other noise makers that will disrupt the performance
•Laser pointers of any type
•Throwing objects of any kind
•Projectiles (Frisbees, hula hoops, footballs, or any other throwing type item)
•Any object that will create a fire (candles, fireworks, sparklers, etc.)
•Professional recording devices of any kind
•Signs, banners, or tripods that will interfere with the view of the performance for other guests
•Skateboards, in-line skates, or hover boards
•Wallet chains, spiked bracelets or belts
•Occupying any seat without the appropriate ticket
•Irresponsible drinking or behavior
•Illegal substances or drugs
•Any gestures and/or clothing that utilizes profane language or content that promotes fosters, or perpetuates discriminations on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, conduct or encouragement of illegal activity.
•Any distraction to the performance or performers
•Mistreatment to other guests or staff/personnel, including but not limited to, verbal abuse, harassment, profanity, confrontations, intimidation, or threatening behavior
•Failure to follow the directions of law enforcement, security, ushers, ticket takers, or any other event personnel will result in ejection from the location.
