Event description

Description

Join us on Tuesday, March 14th 10:00am – 1:30pm
Together we’ll explore The Many Ways to Use...
Authentic Reflection for Learning & Assessment

Authentic reflection deepens and integrates learning, making it personally relevant. It provides insight into our learners’ thoughts, our own practices and helps us evaluate impact

What is Authentic Reflection?
Authentic reflection is a 3-step method that goes beyond the first layer to help participants think more deeply about what they are learning, why this is so, and what they are taking away from their experience and thought process.

Authentic reflection helps embed what’s learned and offers the opportunity to see how this might relate to the participant. It digests insights from “out there” to “inside” securing “ownership” of knowledge, about both specific content information and oneself.

Come explore how to create stimulating Authentic Reflection that you can use in endless ways throughout your program and to examine your own practices and assumptions.

Entrance Details:
Enter through front entrance. If door is locked ring the buzzer that says “Lobby” and a VS representative will open the door.

Must RSVP by Friday March 10th, at 5:00pm
