Event Details

From the gleaming minarets of Plant Hall – Tampa’s signature National Historic Landmark – to the $530 million in new facilities and technology, The University of Tampa’s globally connected campus is the beating heart of a vibrant urban oasis. A distinguished faculty and approximately 8,310 students from all 50 states and 140 countries are joined in a university ranked among the best of the best by U.S. News & World Report, Forbes and The Princeton Review.

A medium-sized private university, UT offers more than 200 academic programs taught by a faculty as passionate about students’ success as they are about their areas of expertise. Student activities, championship athletics, community service, honors, leadership and study abroad programs complete an extraordinary academic experience that prepares students for impactful and global careers and lives.

Established in 1962, the Board of Counselors’ mission is to aid The University of Tampa as goodwill ambassadors in the business community by assisting in creating public recognition of, understanding of and confidence in The University of Tampa.

With nearly 100 volunteer board members, the Counselors organize social events to raise awareness and funds for UT and maintain programs designed to prepare students for life after graduation. Through their membership commitment, Board of Counselors members find rewarding opportunities to network with peers who share their belief in the value of higher education.

Cigar City Nights is scheduled for April 7, 2017, from 5:30–8 p.m., at Sono Café at the Tampa Museum of Art. Guests will enjoy a night overlooking the UT minarets while enjoying premium cigars, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and spirits. Live entertainment completes the setting for this fun event. As a community member and industry leader in Tampa Bay, this event provides unique entry level donation/sponsorship opportunities – creating a dynamic relationship between your company and The University of Tampa.
