Join Daniel Yang as he talks with two leading experts on new research on the Hispanic Church in North America.

About this Event

Join Daniel Yang, Director of the Send Institute, as he talks with Dr. Elizabeth Rios and David Ramos about the new Hispanic Church Planting Research released by the Send Institute. The three will discuss the implications for ministry in North America. Also drawing from their own work and experience, they will help ministry leaders navigate what ministry and church planting look like for the next generation of Hispanics Americans.

BIOS

Dr. Elizabeth Rios is a Founding Board Member and Vice President of Plant 4 Harvest, a church planting organization dedicated to helping church planters of color plant healthy churches and reach the nations via project management, training and development. She serves as a board member of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition which is a national network of Hispanic evangelical congregations, leaders, and not-for-profits committed to Gospel-centered transformation in the work of justice and mercy. To highlight the voices of people on the margins and their allies, she hosts a monthly author Facebook live show called Just Us Talks through her organization The Passion Center. In addition, she is a senior consultant and operations manager for Freedom Road, LLC which coaches, consults, trains and designs experiences to help groups in multiple sectors do justice in just ways.

Rev. David Ramos is the Associate Director of the City Ministry Program, a program designed to equip and support established and emerging leaders in New York City with practical skills to conduct ministry in an urban context. David has been providing training in urban ministry and missions, locally and globally, for over 20 years. David has served in varying leadership roles in the fields of social work, education, non-profit organizations, and in ministry. He is the Pastor of Third Christian Church in the Hamilton Heights area of New York City, and is the Founder and Facilitator of the Latino Leadership Circle, a network that provides support to ministers and leaders, and facilitates educational forums.
