Event description

Description

Ana Homayoun, founder of Green Ivy Educational Consulting, author of The Myth of the Perfect Girl

In today's world of high expectations, many individuals – regardless of age – feel an underlying or overarching anxiety of never being good enough, constantly believing that something is "missing" in their pursuit of achievement, success, and happiness. It doesn't have to be this way!

With compassion, empathy, and humor, author and educational consultant Ana Homayoun describes why so many teens – particularly in high-achievement areas like Silicon Valley – struggle with this fear of never being good enough. She will discuss practical strategies to help teens create their own blueprint for personal fulfillment, purpose, and wellness.

Parents, students, educators, and community members welcome! Free admission and light refreshments. Simultaneous Spanish interpretation will be available.

Carlmont Parent Education Series events are sponsored by Carlmont PTSA, Sequoia Healthcare District, and Sequoia Union High School District.
