Julian Edelman Once Again Joins the Christmas in the City Team for this year's Celebrity Holiday Tree Auction!

Join us for this sixth annual event to support Christmas in the City, which will feature longtime Christmas in the City supporter and New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman! Last year Edelman did a reading from his children's book Flying High, exclusively for attendees and we can't wait to see what he will do this year! Flying High is partially autobiographical; it is the story of a passionate squirrel that learns the value of hard work, with some other familiar New England faces make an appearance in the book as well.

Edelman will also take part in a live auction which will feature a one-of-a-kind Julian Edelman- themed Christmas tree decorated by the wide receiver, a few specially decorated wreaths, and a select number of signed copies of his books.

The evening also features additional silent and live auctions, as well as tasty bites and a cash bar from the Seaport Hotel. Guests are asked to please bring a toy to donate to Christmas in the City!

Christmas in the City is a 100% volunteer organization, will hold its 29th Annual Holiday Party this December. They will serve 5,000 children and caregivers living in shelters, hotels or transitional housing at their celebration. The following day, they will distribute more gifts of toys and clothing, serving 13,000 more children whose families have fallen on hard times and otherwise might find nothing under the tree. Proceeds raised from this event will go to purchasing toys and to help fund the bus transportation needed to bring all the children and their caregivers to the party.

Beginning Monday, November 27th, the Seaport Hotel will be serving as a toy drop off location, simply valet your toys! Drive up to the hotel's front door on Seaport Lane and give them to the valet, or leave your car with the valet while you unload gifts to their lobby donation site.
