Christmas Carnivorous Plant Nightmares at the Texas Triffid Ranch
Event Information
About this Event
There’s nuclear family shopping, and then there’s post-nuclear family shopping. The Texas Triffid Ranch, Dallas’s pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, announces its special Christmas Eve plant tour in conjunction with Caroline Crawford Originals, running December 24 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. View unique enclosures full of carnivorous plants from around the world, as well as equally unique jewelry, and combine “something REALLY diffetent” and “buy local.” Unfortunately, Venus flytraps aren’t available (flytraps have to go into dormancy during the winter, and won’t be available until March), but come out to view an assemblage of plants that can be enjoyed all year, including pitcher plants (Asian, South American, and Australian), sundews, butterworts, and bladderworts. Admission is free: for more information, please visit http://www.texastriffidranch.com
