How to Fix your Gut - Getting to the Root Causes to Restore Optimal Digestive Health

Open to both Practitioners and the public.

£99 (includes lunch).

*** 3 HOURS BANT CPD APPROVED + CERTIFICATE ***

A healthy gut is the foundation of good health. Our gut produces 3/4 of the neurotransmitters which affect how we think and feel, it contains 2/3 of our immune tissue and contains 10 times more cells than the rest of your body combined.

If you struggle with ongoing digestive symptoms you are not alone. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is thought to affect up to one in five people at some point in their life causing abdominal pain, inconsistent or excessive bowel movements, and even psychological symptoms such as anxiety or depression.

Gut permeability is now thought to be a contributory factor to the development and progression of autoimmune disease. The latest research is revealing the state of our gut bacteria may be the key to boosting weight loss, improving mood, behaviour and sleep

Visits for intestinal disorders are among the most common reasons for trips to the GP. Digestive problems wreak havoc in the entire body, leading to allergies, arthritis, autoimmune disease, rashes, acne, chronic fatigue, mood disorders, autism, dementia, cancer, and more.

So, having a healthy gut means more than simply being free of annoyances like bloating or heartburn. It is absolutely central to your health. It is connected to everything that happens in your body.

This seminar is suitable for practitioners and the public. Award winning Nutritionist and author of The Gut Health Diet Christine Bailey will explain how to resolve digestive symptoms for good by addressing the root causes. The course will provide practical solutions to digestive symptoms with the latest research in digestive health.

The course will cover:

The 5 key steps to restoring digestive health

What is SIBO and how to identify it

Gut Infections and how to address them

Food Allergies and Sensitivities

Coeliac Disease and non-coeliac gluten sensitivity

How to heal the gut
