Chris Knight, Mic Harrison & the High Score and Johnny Mac on June 3, 2023

As part of this year's Tennessee River Jam presented by the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, Breakers Marina is bringing one of the most legendary Americana singer/songwriters to our stage. On Saturday June 3, 2023 we will host Chris Knight, Mic Harrison and the High Score and Johnny Mac. For the past 20 years, Chris Knight has only made music his own way. He’s released eight acclaimed albums, played thousands of electrifying live shows and built generations of fervent fans from Texas honky-tonks to Manhattan rock clubs. He’s been hailed as “the last of a dying breed...a taciturn loner with an acoustic guitar and a college degree” (The New York Times) and “a storyteller in the best traditions of Mellencamp and Springsteen” (USA Today). Bottom line, he’s hard-earned his reputation as one of America’s most uncompromising and respected singer/songwriters. Opening for Chris will be Mic Harrison, originally from Bradford, Tn. with his band the High Score. In the past 12 years or so, Mic and the guys have traveled the country, performing at festivals from Bonnaroo to Easyriders Rodeos, headlining bills from concert halls to the stickiest bars, opening shows for everyone from Billy Joe Shaver to Huey Lewis and the News to ZZ Top.
