Kingswood Oxford School's Director of Theater, Kyle Reynolds, inspires students with his passion for theater, dance, and public speaking during his upper and middle school classes. Students involved with the fall play and the winter musical learn first hand as they witness his creative vision come to life each afternoon during rehearsals. Mr. Reynolds has taught at several Connecticut colleges/universities: Western Connecticut State University, Post University, Central Connecticut State University, and Goodwin College. His accomplished work has been seen all over the state including recently winning the award for "Connecticut's Best Musical" for his production of A Chorus Line at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Last year, KO's Production of CHICAGO were invited to the HALO AWARDS winning Best Choreography, Best Featured Dancers, and the Dance Molinari Scholarship! 

Under his instruction, students have achieved successful careers in both Broadway and off-Broadway productions as well as several national tours. At the college level, his students have also gained acceptance to elite musical theater universities: Baldwin Wallace, Shenandoah, Ithaca, Boston Conservatory,  NYU TISCH and the University of Michigan. Kyle, a performer himself, who is trained in the Sanford Meisner technique, continues to be inspired by the creativity and hunger for theatrical training at Kingswood Oxford.
