OVERVIEW:

Evidence-based approaches increase the success and impact of an intervention. This training reviews the steps leading up to selecting an evidence-based approach, how to find an approach and determine if it is a good fit, fidelity, and evaluation of an evidence-based strategy.

OBJECTIVES:

Describe what an evidence-based approach is and the value of it

Understand the criteria involved in selecting evidenced-based strategies

Knowledge of steps to consider when planning to implement evidence-based strategies

Understand how to balance fidelity with adaption

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Prevention professionals including organizational leadership, coalition or council coordinators, community organizers, coalition members, and community members interested in comprehensive planning efforts.

There is No Cost to attend this training.

You do Not have to be affiliated with an OBH funded entity to attend this training.
