Children love food, so this class includes a story about choosing real, healthy food, then they get to create their own kid friendly wrap.
About this event
Kids love food, and Choices is excited to offer the opportunity for community children to come together, listen to a story about real, local food and create their own kid friendly wrap. The story is geared toward 4 -6 years olds, but all ages are welcome.
Rebecca, one of our team members, will be sharing the book Tractor Mac: Farmers Market and lead the children in making their very own fruit or veggie wrap. Kids will receive a section of Bees Wrap, to wrap up their creation.
Choices is committed to encouraging even our youngest shoppers to know where their food comes from and to choose more fresh food and less processed food. That is how we create a more sustainable future for our community.
The ticket price is $1, which includes the story time and ingredients for your child's fruit/veggie wrap. You will receive a $1 Choices coupon that you can use for a purchase after story time.
