Saturday is almost here!!! Can you believe it?!
Below is an Event Schedule and a FAQ section to address a number of questions we've been receiving. The schedule isn't set in stone, so times may vary slightly day of. Just something to keep in mind!
1PM - 6PM: Chive Pre Game Special/Early Check-In
Taphouse has graciously offered deals on pre event food! A portion of food orders will be donated to Chive Charities and you will receive a discount. Also, you'll be able to check-in to the event early. There will be some live music and happy hour specials going on too!
3PM: Hotel Check-In Starts
If you are staying locally at The Hotel Huntington Beach or Days Inn , Check-In at both hotels begins at 3pm. Word on the street is several chivers are planning pre and post parties?? That could get interesting =)
6PM: Event Check-In Begins!
Please bring your printed event tickets and/or have them viewable on your phone! We will be scanning the QR codes on your tickets to check you in. You will then be given your super awesome Care package with your event wristbands! Have your IDs out also as this is a 21 and over event. If you are planning on buying at the door tickets, nows the time! $15, Cash or card is fine. You'll receive one raffle ticket and your event wristband.
8PM: CHIVEonLA Store Opens!
Pick up a CHIVEonLA Shirt ($25) or additional raffle tickets ($2) while supplies last. You can make your purchases at the table where you checked in. Get a sneek peak at all the stuff we're raffeling off!
9PM: Live Band and DJ
"Those Guys Band" is a great 80's/90's cover band that'll join us on the main floor. Downstairs we'll have a DJ spinnin' through the night. We will be doing raffles and announcements periodically on the main stage throughout the night from here on out!
12AM: Donation Total Announcement!
The moment we've been waiting for will finally be here! We'll announce how much we've raised for Chive Charities! We will total up all ticket, raffle, and shirt sales and write it on a huge ass check we've made! Taphouse HB is also donating a portion of drink and food sales as well! Their dontation total will go on top of what we've raised!!!
2AM: Closing Time
At this point you should all be safely leaving the venue and heading to your hotels and homes via Shuttle Service, Taxi, or Designated Chiver. Perhaps an after Party is in store? Who knows, the night could just be getting started! We'd like to thank everyone for attending and make it one hell of a memorable night!
I didn't buy a presale ticket, will there be any available? How many?
YES! They will be available at the door! We should have at least 100 additional tickets available. Ticket sales will continue as long as we're under the Legal Capacity for the Venue for safety's sake. The best thing to do is get there early!
Cash only? Card?
We take both! Eventbrite kicked us down some nifty little card readers to help expedite the purchase process.
I'm (insert an age under 21 here), can I come with someone else who's at least 21?
No, sorry :/ This event is 21 and over only. It's a bar. You should be at the movies or something! Despicable Me 2 is really good!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is accessible.
Can we pre game it in the parking lot?
No, you cannot be loitering and drinking in the parking lot. There will be ample time to hang out on the patio of the restaurant with fire pits, purchase a drink and relax, maybe grab some food inside. Plus you can check-in early and beat the rush.
Is there an after party?
A few people have mentioned such things around facebook but we personally do not know of anything concrete that is happening after the event is over.
Do you guys work at the CHIVE? Can we be friends?
We do not not work at theCHIVE or Chive Charities. CHIVEonLA is made up of small group of old friends that are all passtionate and enthusiastic chivers just like you! We enjoy throwing these events to raise awarness and money for some worthy causes AND meeting fellow chivers! Yes we can be friends :)

Tap House HB has been chosen as our O.C. Meetup Spot. With 10,000 square feet Bar & Restaurant space, there are 94 Beers on Tap, Self Pour Taps, Full Bar, Live Entertainment, Huge Patio, Fire Pits & More! PLEASE NOTE: After 9PM, You MUST be 21 and over!

*Chive Charities has no connection with the Chive Nation Fundraising events whatsoever and indication to the contrary is purely coincidental. Donations made at fundraising events may be eligible for a tax deduction provided they are made directly to "Chive Charities".
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
YES. After 9pm, Tap House HB is a +21 Over Establishment.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
TONS of open parking is available. No meters or pay lots.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES. Please bring your printed ticket to recieve your Wristband and Care Package.
You can also show us on your phone, that's cool too! (Saving trees is nice).
What is the refund policy?
Since this is really a a donation, there are no refunds. Its going to a great cause whether you can attend or not.
