We're excited to have you at the 2nd Annual ChiTeen Lit Fest!

This year's ChiTeen Lit Fest will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 21-22 with guest headliners

Nate Marshall, Tara Mahadevan, Eric May, Megan Stielstra, and The Sun Bros.


Here's What We Have In-Store for You:

A Kick-Off Party: Come out on Friday night for great food, music, dancing, performances, and making activities.

A Teen-Only Festival : On Saturday, you will meet other like-minded teens who love to read, write, perform, and create. Brush elbows with professional writers and your fellow teens at workshops, panels, readings, and more. Featured programs include Graffitti Art as Resistance Writing, Bookbinding and Papermaking, Publishing Your Work, Narrative Game Design Demo, LED Bookmark, Poems While You Wait, and more!

The ChiTeen Lit Fest (CTLF) is a for-teens-by-teens event that provides a safe and creative space for young adults to unlock and discover their unique voices through the literary arts. CTLF brings together young people from across Chicago to celebrate their talents as they express themselves through exceptional and honest art.
