Chiropractic Yoga Series

Your body tells the story of “you”. All your scars, pains, alignment, weight loss or gain, muscle strength, etc… It’s a chapter in your story. We will help you learn your own story. Because it is from within these chapters that you will find healing, strength and well-being. We recommend and encourage attending the full series for the most benefits and best value.

1. The Spine – The Present

This is your story now. Why do you have your current posture? Our posture is a reflection of our habits. We begin with a full body postural scan. Together we analyze your posture and how to bring it to better alignment. Learn about the parts of the spine and what they do. We will go through “spotlights” so you can recognize how your habits affect your posture and how to correct them.

2. Hips, Pelvis, Psoas – The Journey

This is the foundation of the spine. We will study movement and why it’s important. Within our hips we store emotions and fears that impacts our movement. By understanding the past we can accept what it takes to make postural corrections. Learn the difference between the hips and the pelvis and how they move. Learn about the true core of the body, the psoas and how it affects motion. Learn if you have a tight or weak psoas and how simple yoga poses can help.

3. The Nervous System – Mindset

This workshop we will put it all together. Understanding the nervous system will affect the next chapter of “The Story of You”. The central nervous system is made up of the brain and spinal cord so our mood our mindset makes a direct impact to our nervous system. Our nervous system is made up of nerves that branch off from the spinal cord and extend to all parts of the body this directly impacts our muscles. Our muscles will pull and impact the spine. Learn techniques that will have a positive impact to you whole well-being.

DETAILS:

  • Gentle yoga at room temperature.

  • ALL levels workshop; beginners are encouraged to attend.

  • Please wear comfortable and loose clothing.

  • Bring bottled water, a towel and a mat. If you do not have a mat we have a LIMITED supply if you need to borrow one.

  • Kid-friendly recommended ages 12+ (w/ parent or guardian no drop-offs)

  • Space is limited. Minimum 5 required for event. Max is 15 for mobility.

  • $30 for each workshop or $80 for ALL 3 workshops (best value)
