FREE for ALL EDUCATORS (schools and organizations) and their families:

You're invited to an in-person screening of the new documentary film CHINATOWN RISING, featuring a Q&A with directors and cast members. Be the first to attend a theater screening of the re-edited, final version of the film!

The film and curriculum materials have recently been endorsed by the SFUSD Ethnic Studies Department. In the past two and a half months, CHINATOWN RISING has been acquired for use in over 50 schools!

For SFUSD educators, this event can be Prop G eligible! Please contact your school administrator to confirm.

9:15am: Registration and coffee/refreshments

10:00am: Screening starts

11:30am: Q&A with directors Harry Chuck and Josh Chuck

Noon: Event ends

While the theater space is large, we are taking every precaution we can for safety. Everyone over age 5 will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask over their mouth and nose during the event.

Parking is limited to street parking so please arrive early if possible.

Be sure to register using your school or organization email address so we can confirm you are affiliated with an educational institution. We reserve the right to cancel tickets registered under a non-institution email address.
