China–Africa–United States Trilateral Cooperation 中国-非洲-美国三边合作
Event Information
Description
Given the growth of Sino-African political and economic ties, it is necessary to review current development models in Africa and build new types of interaction between China and traditional donors. There is no right answer to aid and development best practices, nevertheless, recipients and donors alike can learn from one another to ensure that development trends, projects and initiatives are consistently evolving and improving to better meet the unique needs of each community.
As part of this on-going discussion, the Carnegie–Tsinghua Center is delighted to host a special roundtable discussion as part of the China–Africa–U.S. Trilateral Sister Cities program. Municipal officials and community leaders from partner cities in China, Nigeria and the United States will present the outcome of their trilateral interaction. Representatives from national associations in China and the United States will also share their views on further collaboration. Carnegie–Tsinghua’s Tang Xiaoyang will moderate the discussion.
