Description
Children's peace theatre presents our 19th annual Gala performance!
Peace Camp is our flagship program that engages children and youth in social issues, building skills in conflict transformation through the arts. Between July 8th and July 27th, a cast of children and youth guides will engage in artistic activities to examine what kind of future they want to be a part of and how they can contribute to it.
This year's show WeTropolis is a time travel journey into our imaginations. A collaborative ideation of a future that will liberate us all. How can we, future ancestors, align and adapt to the most resilient practices of emergence and relationship as a species and create the new WeTropolis?
The presentation will be followed by a reception at 6:30 p.m., which will include delicious refreshments, performances, and some words from neighborhood leaders. Tickets can be purchased in-person at Children's Peace Theatre, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., or online at EventBrite.
ALL SHOWS ARE RAIN OR SHINE. ARRIVE EARLY ON RAINY DAYS AS INDOOR SEATING IS LIMITED AND WE WILL SIT ON A FIRST COME FIRST SEATED BASIS. LATE-COMERS WILL BE REIMBURSED BUT WILL MISS THE SHOW.
