Description

The Children’s Literary Hour is a free monthly workshop focusing on language and literacy development while inspiring a love for learning through creativity.

This month we will be reading The Last Christmas Tree by Stephen Krensky. It is a heartwarming, magical tale of a little tree hoping to find a home for Christmas.


Creative Activity: Kids will create their own trees using lines made from paper. They will learn that artists use lines to create dynamic art and that there are different kinds of lines that can be used to create a pattern – horizontal, diagonal, vertical and more.

Each child will receive a hardcover copy of the book to take home.

Ages: 4-9 years old an
d children must be accompanied by an adult.

Instructor: Rachel Jaeger // 1st grade teacher at Westside Elementary School in West Fargo, ND

Located in Others boutique at 18 8th St S, Fargo, ND.

Registration only needs to be completed for the children attending. Accompanying adults do not need to register.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to check-in.

If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible to so we can open up registration for other attendees.
