Join Children’s Hospital Colorado pediatric experts for a community discussion on youth mental health

About this event

Last year, Children’s Hospital Colorado declared a state of emergency for youth mental health. Today, the urgency of that crisis continues, with more kids seeking help than previous years and a lack of sufficient community resources available to aid them. Join us for a thoughtful conversation on important topics, including suicidality, eating disorders and drug use. We’ll also discuss how parents and teachers can make a difference through mental health first aid, advocacy efforts and watching for key warning signs. This town hall will be held virtually, and participants will have the opportunity to engage in an open Q&A.

This event is free and open to the public. Live interpretation will be available in Spanish.

Moderator: Dr. Ron-Li Liaw, Mental Health-in-Chief
