The Club welcomes friends and family for exclusive readings by best-selling authors Laura Schroff, Roxie Munro and Robin Newman. Join us for a special story time while sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace and Christmas tree as we await Santa's arrival!

Laura Schroff, a #1 New York Times and international bestselling author and keynote speaker, is a passionate and compelling voice on the power of small acts of kindness and mentorship. An Invisible Thread Christmas Story is the true, heartfelt story of Schroff's Christmas with a boy named Maurice who she met on the street while he was asking for change. She shares how Maurice gave her a small white bear which, as she later learns, was the only thing he had that he could truly call his own. Schroff’s decision to help Maurice led to a lifelong friendship, changing both of their lives forever.

Roxie Munro is the author/illustrator of more than forty nonfiction and concept children's books about art and architecture, nature, aviation and all sorts of other lively topics. She's created twelve interactive apps, had fourteen New Yorker magazine covers published and exhibits art (primarily paintings of New York City) widely in galleries and museums. Her book, Christmastime in New York City, presents panoramic drawings of various sights of the Big Apple all decked out for the holiday season and was named on The New York Times Best Children’s Books List in 1987.

Robin Newman was a practicing attorney and legal editor, but she now prefers to write about witches, mice, pigs and peacocks. Her adaptation of Sesame Street's first Christmas is a timeless favorite with kids who love Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, and more! Find out how Santa first came to Sesame Street in Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas, as Elmo's dad spins him a bedtime story about his great-great-grandmonster, back when Sesame Street was a very different place. Elmo will bring kindness, holiday cheer and the spirit of Christmas to Sesame Street.
