Event description

Description

The Children's Partnership, Children's Specialty Care Coalition, Family Voices of California, American Academy of Pediatrics California, and the California Children's Hospital Association invite you to join us for a policy briefing, "Opportunities and Challenges in Pediatric Telehealth." Lunch will be available.*

The goal of the briefing is to educate policymakers about the importance of telehealth in delivering, and improving access to, specialty care for California's children and adolescents, particularly those with special health care needs or chronic conditions. Telehealth's promise and reach to both rural and urban areas of the State, as well as to both clinical and non-clinical settings (i.e the patient’s home) will be showcased. Join us to hear pediatric providers, families, payers, and others speak about advancements in the delivery of care via telehealth; the implications for access and outcomes for children; cost savings; and the barriers and opportunities ahead.

For questions, please contact Ielnaz Kashefipour at: ikashefipour@childrenspartnership.org.
