Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico provides special support services for young people after the death of a loved one. Grieving families often need help to accomplish everyday tasks. To make it easier for the children and their families to attend counseling group sessions, Children’s Grief Center provides a free dinner.
ABQ Involved has volunteered to bring an Italian food meal for the families. Volunteers will cook or purchase their portion of the meal prior to the event, bring the food to the event, and then serve the meal. If you can only cook, we can arrange a pick up of the food. Volunteers will act as family greeters, set up the meal, and clean afterwards. We will serve approximately 40-50 people.
Kids are welcome.
