Description

Dress in costume for this fun fall celebration! Kids will love our bounce houses, traditional games, pig racing, and cartoon character look-alikes. Boogie down to live country western music and enjoy the view on an autumn hayride. Get lost in The Amazing Maize Maze and explore our Haunted House! Pony rides and a seasonal petting zoo will be ongoing throughout the day. Check out the ConEdison Ecology booth where you can adopt a worm for your home compost bin, get gardening & recycling tips, and enjoy free crafts for kids! There will be food vendors on the farm all day.


PLANNING YOUR VISIT:

• NO ATM on site. Credit cards are accepted for general admission to the event. We recommend bringing cash for food vendors and additional activities.

Pets are not allowed, for the safety of our farm animals and visitors. Service animals are permitted as described by the ADA.

Wheelchair accessibility is available for the Farm grounds, restrooms, and The Amazing Maize Maze.

Strollers, backpacks and bottled water are allowed on our grounds and in The Amazing Maize Maze.

Refunds allowed up until Saturday, October 28th at 11:00am. No exchanges on event tickets. Tickets cannot be replaced or transferred.

Is there an admission fee to enter your grounds?
There is an entrance fee at the farm on days when we are hosting a public event, including the Children's Fall Festival. Farm members receive free gate admission. For more details, visit http://queensfarm.org/events.html. Please note that the Queens County Farm Museum is not a participating institution of idNYC or Cool Culture.

How much are tickets?
$20.00/person* (Adult or Child)
Ages 2 & under free
Note: Farm Members get free gate admission; Call 718-347-3276 to become a Member!

*What activities does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes access to live country western music, bounce houses for kids, traditional games, cartoon character look-alikes, pig races, kids' crafts at the Con Edison Ecology booth, a hayride, a pony ride (80 lbs & under), petting zoo, The Amazing Maize Maze, and our Haunted House.

How do I get to the Queens County Farm Museum?
Visit http://queensfarm.org/hours-directions.html for directions to the farm by car or public transportation.

Where can I park?
Free event parking is available for cars and buses in the parking lot just south of our main gate entrance. Enter on Little Neck Parkway at 74th Avenue. Bus passengers can be dropped off in parking lot.

Is there parking for bikes?
We have a bike rack on-site through our main gate entrance.

Do you have a stroller/bag/coat check on-site?
No, we do not have designated storage for strollers, bags, or coats. Please keep in mind when planning your visit.

Will there be an ATM machine on-site?
NO, there is not an ATM machine on-site at the event. Credit cards are accepted for general admission to the event, but it's best to bring cash for additional activities and food. The nearest ATM is on the corner of Little Neck Parkway and Union Turnpike (7-minute walk from the farm).

Will there be food on-site?
Yes, you will find a variety of meal options during the Children's Fall Festival. Vendors generally accept cash only. Visitors are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch from home.

Can I purchase tickets on-site?
Yes, Children's Fall Festival tickets can also be purchased at the farm on the day of your visit based on availability. Ticket booths open at 11:00am. Cash and credit cards (MC/VISA/DISCOVER/AMEX) are accepted.

How do I get my tickets once I have purchased them online?
Once tickets have been purchased online, an email confirmation will be sent to you with a link to print your eTickets from your computer. You may bring the print out of your tickets OR you may also add them electronically to your iPhone passbook if you prefer.

I'd like to give my tickets as a gift/donation/etc. but they have my name on them. Can they be used by someone else?
If you'd like to have the name on the ticket changed or removed, please contact info@queensfarm.org and we can update the tickets on your behalf.

Can I purchase farm-fresh vegetables at the Children's Fall Festival?
Yes! We are a working farm and our Seasonal Farmstand will be open from 11 am–5 pm with fresh produce for sale.

Are there discounts available?
Yes, Children's Fall Festival admission is discounted to $5 for active military and one guest (Military ID required).

Who do I contact if I still have questions about tickets, prices, discounts or The Amazing Maize Maze?
Please email info@queensfarm.org between Monday and Friday and someone will get back to you.

Is this event rain or shine?
Yes, however many event activities are weather dependent.

I did not receive an email confirmation when I ordered my tickets, what should I do?
Check your spam or gray mail folder, in case it was misdirected. If you are unable to find it, email info@queensfarm.org to have it resent. Please include the name and email address used to order the tickets.

I am not able to print my tickets. What should I do?
Adobe has a site which reviews the common issues with printing .pdf files: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/873/cpsid_87346.html. In the article, you'll see the the best solution is to print as an image. If this article does not resolve the issue, please email us at info@queensfarm.org.
