Learn how to protect pollinators and build your very own bumble bee nest box!
Following a short presentation about pollinator conservation, we will be using basic tools - hammers, nails, & glue - to assemble wooden bumble bee nest boxes to take home with you and put in your garden. This event is suitable for families with kids age 8 and older. Children under 8 are welcome to attend, but parental assistance with tool use is recommended.
Our Beacon Hill organic farm is located at 3656 24th Ave S on the east side of the street. Ample street parking is available. Please dress for the weather, as the workshop will be held outdoors. Please note that there are no restroom facilities on the farm.
Thank you for your interest in protecting pollinators!
