Description

The workshop is designed for individuals who are the beginning of the process for obtaining a court order for child custody or support. This workshop is also helpful for individuals interested in negotiating a visitation plan with the other parent.

This session is not for individuals who are already under a court order for child custody or support or engaged with the Office of Child Support Enforcement.

By the end of the workshop, the participants will understand:

  • The legal process of child support and custody;
  • The factors the courts in Maryland use to determine child custody;
  • How to calculate child support;
  • The court forms used for child custody and support;
  • How to develop/negotiate a patenting plan; and
  • How to gather and introduce evidence.

The class will be taught by William Honablew, Jr. MBA, Esquire. William is a Maryland attorney who has thousands of people through the out the United States. His passion is ensuring that people who enter the courtroom are prepared to win whether the can afford legal counsel or not.
