On behalf of the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Division of Early Learning (DEL), we are pleased to invite you to attend one of the community meetings on the recently published regulations for the licensing of child development facilities. The purpose of this meeting is to share important information about the new regulations, and to provide attendees the opportunity to ask questions to increase their understanding of the new licensing regulations so their programs can be in compliance. The community meetings will take place at various locations throughout the District on multiple dates. Upon request, translation services will be provided for the community meetings.
During these community meetings, the following topics will be covered:
An overview of some of the key changes to the recently published regulations for the licensing of child development facilities;
How the new regulations impact providers; and
The timeline for compliance with the new regulations.
For additional information on these community meetings, please contact Daryl Johnson, community outreach specialist, at (202) 741-5937 or Daryl.Johnson@dc.gov.
