AN ALL DAY PROGRAM PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY ADMINISTRATION
This program will provide strategies for improving child representation, best practices for child counsel, and how to avoid pitfalls. Ample time is allotted for questions and discussion.
The program meets the requirements of Rule 9-205.1 of the Maryland Rules for attorneys wishing to qualify for appointment as child counsel, in accordance with Guideline 4 of the Maryland Guidelines for Practice for Court-Appointed Lawyers Representing Children in Cases Involving Child Custody or Child Access.
