Child Birth Preparation (prenatal) Class
Sat, April 22, 2017, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM MDT
The Late Pregnancy Class will review fetal growth and maternal body changes. The process of labor, medical interventions, pain management and cesarean birth will be discussed. There will be a brief over view of breathing and relaxation, but additional review and practice on your own are encouraged. Newborn care and a tour of the Women's Center will also be included.
Most women attend the class in the late 2nd trimester or 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Do bring a labor support person or a friend. (Of course this is not required, but it is more fun with a buddy!) The class fee is per couple.
You may wish to bring snacks. There will be a lunch break. You may bring a lunch, eat in the hospital cafe, or travel to one of the eateries near the hospital.
Be comfortable!! You may want to bring a jacket and a cushion to promote comfortable sitting.
You do not need to bring large pillows. Time and space limit our ability to practice "floor exercises".
Please note: If Medicaid is covering the cost of the class please select the LPC reservation (medicaid) ticket. You will need to present a copy of your current card at the class.
We wish to accommodate as many as possible. Adults only please.
