How can I get there by car?

  • From Interstate 80: From I-80, merge onto I-580 East toward Hayward. Take CA-24 East towards Walnut Creek. Exit at 51st Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way and bear left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
  • From Central Contra Costa County via CA-24: From CA-24 West, take Telegraph Avenue exit. Turn left onto Telegraph Avenue. At second light, make right onto 55th Street. At second stop light, make right onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
  • From Interstate 880: Going north on I-880, take I-980 towards Berkeley then CA-24 towards Berkeley/Walnut Creek. Exit at 51st Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way and bear left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
  • From Interstate 580: Going west on I-580, take CA-24 towards Berkeley/Walnut Creek. Exit at 51st Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way and bear left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

What are my parking options?

CHORI has two parking lots with complimentary parking, one on 58th Street and another on Aileen Street. Directions and further information can be found on the CHORI website.

Limited street parking is also available in the area.

What are my public transportation options?

CHORI is approximately 0.8 miles from the Ashby BART station (about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute ride on the AC Transit 12 bus line). It is also located 1.1 miles from the MacArthur BART station (about a 25-minute walk or a 6-minute ride on the AC Transit 18 bus line).

If you plan on using public transportation, we recommend using the BART Trip Planner to help guide your journey.

Will walk-ins be accepted?

Seating is limited for this event and we anticipate it will be fully booked before the day of the event. All participants must reserve a seat by registering ahead of time.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We encourage you to bring your ticket or confirmation (either printed or saved on a mobile device) to the event. Otherwise, we may have to verify your reservation manually at the door.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
