We apologize for the change, but for everyone's safety we had to reschedule this event! We are working to confirm speakers and hope you can join us in Fall 2020!

On October 2, 2020, the Stigma Free Northeast Indiana Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addiction Conference will take place. We are happy to offer this for a second year free of charge. The conference will take place from 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM. The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • 8:00AM-900AM registration, light breakfast, introduction to conference, resource fair
  • 9:00AM-10:15AM session 1

  • 10:30AM-11:45AM session 2
    • speaker 1: Cathie Bledsoe, ICAC Youth Educator

  • 11:45AM-12:45PM LUNCH PROVIDED- Compassion Fatigue and Self-Care, Missy Blackmer, MSEd, LMFT, LMHC
  • 1:00PM-2:15PM session 3

The conference will focus on mental health and addiction including, but not limited to resources, tools, and how to reduce stigma with children and adolescents coping with mental health and/or addiction. We have four returning speakers, but are excited to collaborate with new speakers!

We will again have a resource fair througout the conference that will showcase services that can benefit the children and adolescents of Northeast Indiana.

Toolkits will be provided to all attendees at the end of the conference.

This conference is in collaboration with Northeast Indiana Systems of Care, Northeastern Center, Bowen Center, Department of Child Services, East Noble School Corporaton, the Community Learning Center, and The Lutheran Foundation.
