Child Abuse - It's Everybody's Problem
Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (MST)
As a professional child care provider working with young children - many of whom may be pre-verbal - it is vital to know how to recognize and respond to possible child abuse/neglect. This training provides a comprehensive understanding of a provider’s role and responsibilities in identifying as well as reporting suspected abuse. Not only will the participant learn the facts about child abuse - including the prevalence, risk, types, and signs to watch out for - but also their role as a mandated reporter.
