YOUR INNOVATION LEADERSHIP SUCCESS COACH

DAVID CARLISLE is an experienced Program Director and strategist, with over 20 years working with government and businesses at senior levels.

Most recently, he has been the Executive Director of the AccessCONNECT Program at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, responsible for transforming the national permitting function through optimized business processes and digital solutions. The Program developed the NHVR Portal platform which has been recognized for its successful delivery, receiving multiple industry awards and was a finalist in the Australian Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management.

Prior to this, he was the Program Director for the Queensland Flood Mapping Program, a nationally award-winning project where he managed a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative flood mapping products and digital solutions for over 200 high risk towns and catchment areas across the State after the 2011 floods. He was also the Project Manager for the Target 5 Days and Next Generation Planning projects on behalf of the Council of Mayors (SEQ), involving 11 local governments and was responsible for implementing a range of digital transformation and business improvement activities.

He has led the development of a number of significant strategies and roadmaps, including the electronic development assessment business case for Queensland Government, the National ePlanning Strategy and Roadmap, a Compliance Strategy for Road and Corridor Management activities for Transport and Main Roads (Queensland) and a national review of land use planning and building codes to enhance disaster resilience in the built environment.

He also completed a comprehensive study of the Riyadh Municipality’s Public Health Department in Saudi Arabia to assist them to become a ‘world class’ organisation. This included an improvement and privatisation plan for the Municipality inspections, business administration, training and laboratory services for a city of over 5 million people.

His experience and passion for process improvement and digital transformation commenced in the early 2000’s when he was responsible for creating and product managing the Local Government Toolbox, a successful web-based knowledge base for over 30 Queensland and New South Wales councils, which is still in use almost 20 years later.

DANIE MUTTON has over 30 years of experience in management consulting -- an effective mentor, trainer and implementer. As and SME with extensive international experience in Consulting, Information Technology, Education, Financial and Healthcare industries, his ICT management experience covers both development and implementation of complex information systems.

He has extensive experience in Education, HR, ICT, project management, Strategy development, IT and Strategy Alignment and consulting. He is a Business architect specializing in process led transformation who is known as an innovator that develops unique solutions for complex problems.

Skilled in handling business dynamics, developing, nurturing and strengthening teams by deploying evolving management practices. He is articulate and proactive, combining a professional and confident approach with excellent interpersonal skills and a concise communicator at all levels.

•He has worked as a Strategy and innovation consultant at Standard Bank, Mutual & Federal, Auditor General, Clinix Hospital Group, and Plascon.

•Developed Lean BPM operational models as well as CoE operational models to ensure continuous improvement: Manage, specify and design continuous system improvement, automation and system integrations to enable business optimization.

•Process Alignment: Mutual & Federal, AVBOB – Alignment of processes with organizational strategy and the creation of IT strategies as well as the establishment of standards as a precursor for a CoE. Resource and capacity planning incorporating KPI’s.

•Systems integration: TIA and Audabridge, MFonline and Self-Help service with BPM and TIA. Process simulations based on lean BPM in the manufacturing, insurance, health care and financial sectors.

He specializes in Business Model redesign, for customers like Mutual & Federal where he led the redesign and project management of Allsure Personal Lines product and TIA system to a risk based product, simplification of policy wording, restructuring / simulation / leaning of claims and MLC D processes to align with strategy and to establish realistic performance management.
