About this event
We are conducting this open meeting in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552(k)). The Director of the Office of Government Information Services (OGIS), National Archives and Records Administration, and the Director of the Office of Information Policy (OIP), U.S. Department of Justice, co-chair the Chief Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Officers Council.
The Chief FOIA Officers (CFO) Council develops recommendations for increasing compliance and efficiency and shares best practices and innovative approaches. This meeting will provide updates from OIP, OGIS, and the CFO Council Committees.Additional details about the meeting are available at:

- Attend the meeting virtually through Webex.
To present oral comments during the Public Comments portion of the meeting, you must register to attend via Webex.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO ATTEND VIA WEBEX:
There is a two-step registration process to virtually attend this meeting.
- You must register by 11:59 PM (EST) on Monday November 15, 2021.
- The week of the meeting, registrants will receive a message from OGIS that provides information on how to join the meeting online.
