IMPORTANT FESTIVAL INFORMATION --- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

Photo ID is required for all adults 18 years and up and must be provided at the gates to be allowed to enter the festival.

Is there an age limit to enter the event?

Chickenstock is open to all ages however anyone under 21 must be ticketed and accompanied by a ticketed parent, guardian or spouce who is 21 years or older. Children between 6 and 18 must hold a youth ticket and be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Children 5 and under must hold a free toddler ticket and be accompanied by a ticketed adult. All others must hold an adult ticket and present photo ID to be allowed to enter the festival.

What should I expect to find at Chickenstock?

Chickenstock takes place in the quirky remote town of Chicken Alaska which is completely off grid and there are no public services available such as telephone, internet, cell towers, electricity, water, trash, flush toilets, sewer, wifi, grocery stores, and convenience stores within 100 mile radius. For your convenience, there are FREE sani-dumps, potable water fill stations and landfills in both Tok and Dawson City. Keep in mind that we are operating environmentally and ecologically friendly in a remote wilderness area and you will be expected to "pack it in, pack it out" including your own drinking water and trash. Come prepared to be self sufficient for all-weather camping and to be out of touch with the world for the weekend! There will be Food Venders traveling to Chickenstock to serve their delicious home-cooked food (watch for announcements) so please come prepared to support local eats! Local Brews and a selection of wines will be available inside the gates as well as local craft venders selling their wares.

What can’t I bring to the event?

Guns, outside alcohol, illegal drugs and political agendas are not permitted anywhere on the festival site and Chicken Gold Camp property.

Can I bring my pet to the event?

Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times while on the Chicken Gold Camp property and you must pick up after them. Please bring your poop bags with you as they are not readily available in Chicken. Pets must be with their owners and not left tethered to vehicles or campsites unattended. We hope to continue to allow owners and pets to enjoy this event together so please be respectful of the pet rules. Pets larger than a full sized goat are not allowed!

Can I bring and operate my ATV?

ATV's are allowed on site when operated by a person holding a valid Drivers License and in accordance with Alaska State Law and must be driven under the speed limit of 10mph while on Chicken Gold Company property. ATV and cargo trailers will not be permitted in the FREE CAMPING area and can be left at the parking area near the Mosquito Fork bridge about a mile away from Chicken.

What are my parking and/or camping options at Chickenstock?

For those of you who have made and paid for camping reservations with Chicken Gold Camp, please check in with them upon arrival at Chickenstock. FREE CAMPING for June 15 & 16 is available with your ticket purchase, however it is assigned by our famous parking attendant and is on a first come first serve basis and space is limited! We reached maximum parking capacity in the campground in 2017, so we are strongly recommending carpooling when possible. If you intend on using our FREE CAMPING option, please be prepared to squeeze in, so come with as compact of camping footprint as possible! Day parking is available in the community within close walking distance but will not be available on the Chicken Gold Camp grounds. ATV and cargo trailers will not be permitted in the FREE CAMPING area and can be left at the parking area near the Mosquito Fork bridge about a mile away from Chicken.

What do I do if I plan to arrive earlier than June 15 or stay on after Chickenstock is over?

Any camping outside festival dates will be charged regular campground fees applicable by and payable to Chicken Gold Camp. Please make reservations with them directly: www.chickengold.com. Arrivals earlier than June 15 who are camping through the festival weekend, might have to be moved by our parking attendant on Friday morning to accommodate festival needs. We will do our best not to move you, but please be prepared to be re-arranged early in the morning of Friday, June 15. If you plan to arrive early, please check in and pay for your camping with Chicken Gold Camp and let them know you will be there through the weekend and they will do their best to place you so that you don’t have to be moved.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring either the print out of your ticket or the PDF confirmation file already downloaded onto your phone. Either option must have a legible QR code to present to the gate attendants without having access to wifi. This is your onetime-use ticket and will be scanned to allow you into the festival. You will not have wifi or cell coverage available in Chicken or within 80 miles of Chicken, so you will need to have your ticket (QR code) either printed or downloaded before you leave Tok. This onetime-use QR code is your ticket to the festival, for this reason be very careful with your ticket printout. Once the ticket is used at our gates and marked as used in our system, another person will not be able to enter with the same ticket, there will be no exceptions!

What is the refund policy?

Tickets are refundable upon request until April 25, 2017 at which point they become non-refundable. You can, however change the name on your ticket to someone else's name, see details below.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

You may transfer your ticket to another available ticket type. There is a $5 transfer fee and you will pay the difference in cost between the two tickets (transfers are not allowed on some ticket types). The information on the ticket must match the ID of the individual using it to enter the gates!

Can I update my registration information?

You can update/change your information via the "edit" tab on your event registration in your Eventbrite account. Remember, the information on the ticket must match the ID of the individual using it to enter the gates!

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

NO, each ticket holder must check in at the gate with a ticket that matches the name on their valid Photo ID. When purchasing a group of tickets for friends and family, please use each name of each person who will be using the ticket to enter Chickenstock, do not put your name on all of the tickets you buy. This is important because the person checking in at our gates will need to supply Valid Photo ID that matches the name on their particular ticket before being allowed inside. If you need to change any names on your tickets ahead of time for any reason, you can easily do this by logging into your Eventbrite account. You may give your ticket to another person via your Eventbrite account at any time through June 14, 2018 at no cost, but again you must change the name to the new ticket holder and re-print the ticket for that person to carry to the gate. Once the ticket is scanned at the gate, another person will not be able to enter with the same ticket. For this reason, be very careful with your ticket printout AND please use the "edit" option on your Eventbrite account to update the attendee details prior to June 15 for any tickets you decide to change the names on. If any changes are made to tickets, please be sure to download or print out an updated version of that ticket.
