This workshop will begin with an explanation in the classroom what is needed for butchering poultry. Then we will move to the nearby Zinniker Family Farm, for a hands on slaughter, butchering, and dressing of a chicken. Participants should dress appropriately depending on the level of involvement they choose. Suggested items to bring would be an apron, work shoes or rubber boots.
