About this event
Although the annual Penngrove Parade is canceled this year, the tasty chicken BBQ will be a benefit Chicken BBQ for the non-profit social club on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Volunteer cooks with the Penngrove Social Firemen will prepare their famous BBQ chicken, beans, macaroni salad and bread. Diners will drive through the park’s driveway, and volunteers will hand the meal to pre-paid ticket-holders. Wear your mask and off you go! Penngrove 4-H will sell their delicious $1 desserts, so bring cash.Ticket sales extended to end June 23. Pick up your meal on Saturday, June 26 between 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at 11800 Main St., Penngrove 94951. $20.00 per person, tickets are also available online at Eventbrite or at at JavAmore Café, 10101 Main St. between 7 am and 2 pm. Pay with cash or check. Call 707 794-1516. The non-profit club maintains Penngrove Park and Clubhouse and supports the community.

January 21 – Crab Feed at the clubhouse, 5:30 with dinner at 7:00 pm. Crab, pasta, salad, bread. $65 in advance only at JavAmore Café.
February 18 – Italian Night Benefit Dinner at the clubhouse, 5:30 with dinner at 7:00 pm. Pork Scaloppini, Little Hills’ Chicken, Ravioli, Salad, French Bread. Live accordion with Steve Balich. $30 in advance from JavAmore Café, cash or check.
March 12 - 100 Year Anniversary of the Community Clubhouse, aka Penngrove Social Welfare Club, Open House 1-4 pm. Refreshments, history displays, card games, dance styles through the decades. Free.
May date TBD - Trucker's Ball no host cocktails 5:30 Dinner 7:00pm at the club house. Tri-tip, chicken, pasta and salad. Live Music. Tickets: $30.00 at JavAmore Café with cash or check.
July 2nd Parade and Celebration. "Biggest little parade in Northern California" on Main St., 11 am; followed by BBQ and live music in Penngrove Park, Noon – 4 pm.
October date TBD - Polenta & Stew Dinner with no host bar at 6:00 pm, dinner at 7:00 pm. Polenta and stew, with green salad, French bread and dessert. Tickets are $20; children 12 and under $10. At the clubhouse. Buy tickets at JavAmore Café, with cash or check.
December 17th Holiday Parade of Lights, on Main St., 6-7 pm. Lighted big rigs, farm equipment, floats and more. Free.
