Chicago: What's New in Project 2013, plus Pizza, Prizes, and Practice!
Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (CDT)
Downers Grove, IL
We're Baaack! MPUG Chicago presents What's New in Project 2013, plus Pizza, Prizes, and Practice!
Join the Chicago Chapter of the international Microsoft Project User Group (MPUG) for a unique chance to see and work hands-on with the 2013 releases of Project, Project Server, and SharePoint with the latest touch devices at the Microsoft Store in Oak Brook -- or BYOD, even if it starts with the "i" word!
We'll start in the Microsoft Downers Grove office with pizza (sponsored by Microsoft) and presentations and live demos of new features such as:
- The new Project Online "cloud" version of Project Server
- Creating light-weight projects and tasks in SharePoint (cloud or on premises) and using automated workflows defined in Visio without code to promote some of those projects to Project Server, without rekeying anything and with all of the tasks unified in My Tasks views
- Interactively creating new Dashboard views of a project in Project Pro
Then for the hands on experience, we’ll move to the nearby Microsoft Oakbrook Store (49 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL 60523, 630-288-3420).
This event is FREE, even if you're not an MPUG member, so invite your colleagues too. But if you plan to come, register now before it "sells" out!
