Chicago Startups Play Whirlyball - February 2013
Monday, February 18, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM (CST)
Chicago, United States
Chicago Startups Play WhirlyBall is a fun networking event for Chicagoland tech enthusiasts & startups--founders, early employees, investors and close friends. The goal is simple: Play hard and meet people. No speakers. No business cards. Just WhirlyBall, a bar, and big screen TVs with other talented people you should meet. If you're involved in the startup / tech scene in Chicago, you're invited!
There are a ton of great events for startups out there, but most of them involve sitting in an audience listening to a speaker. Instead of listening to a speaker, you'll be driving a bumper car while trying to get a wiffle ball into a basketball hoop with a lacrosse stick. Awesome!
Who has attended in the past?
Founders, investors, programmers and marketers from bootstrapped startups to VC-backed expansion stage companies. Attendees have represented many companies, including:
- CEC / 1871
- Starter League
- Simple Relevance
- Spartz Media
- Sandbox Industries
- And many more . . .
6:30 - 6:45 - Arrival & registration
6:45 - 7:00 - Introductions & training
7:00 - 9:00 - Open play and networking
