The Chicago OPEX Chapter is a non-profit chapter affiliated with the Global OPEX Society, aiming to build up capabilities of members; through networking, best practice sharing, and awareness transfer through adoption of a number of activities that would result in adding value to their business organizations. It also serves Chicagoland market needs including knowledge transfers to technical syndicates, academic institutions, and interested members.

Join Rafael Félix Torrese, for an informative session on how sales organizations can apply continuous improvement principles to achieve permanent sales effectiveness results.
In this session, Rafael will share his Sales Transformation Components Model and will offer insights and examples on how operational excellence can support the business muscle of the organization and its ability to generate sales.
Rafael Félix is an experienced and reputed international business consultant in Operational Excellence and Sales Transformation, formed over a solid and eclectic professional background including Industrial Engineering (Catholic University - Perú), M.B.A. (IEDE-Chile and Spain),Process Improvement (Six Sigma Black Belt Certification-3M US/SBTI) and People Development (Certified Professional Coach-CPC).
People recognize himself as a passionate entrepreneur, a warm risk taker and as a trustable game changer.
His first job was as a sales representative. Today, with an extensive regional experience in all South, Central, and North America, he has successfully transited through the three sides of the transformation table: as an executive in sales and operations for large corporations; as a productivity and continuous improvement advisor for public sector institutions; and as a consultant, coach and CEO of Humanz Consulting, a regional business transformation consulting firm with operations in Chicago, Miami, Lima and Santiago de Chile and customers across America.
Rafael has worked for I.B.M. and for 3M Company. He has advised relevant customers including Grünenthal, LATAM Airlines, SABMiller, Hewlett Packard, Sodimac, 3M Health Care and Consumer Business, Nestlé, Pfizer, Microsoft, Banco Falabella, Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (Perú), among many others.
He describes himself as a believer in the profound power of human beings to achieve challenging goals and as a passionate about impacting the performance of processes.
Born in Lima, currently based in Chicago, Rafael has lived in Chile for 15 years and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Rafael is a proud member of the AlexcelGroup (Alliance for Leadership Excellence) and the Sales Management Association (SMA).
