Chicago Food Swap
Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (CST)
The January food swap will be a small event. This is not intended to exclude people but rather to give members of the Chicago Food Swap community a chance to connect in a more intimate setting.
We want to take this chance to get to know you, our faithful swappers. We want to swap, of course. But we also want to give everyone a chance to talk and mingle in a more relaxed setting. Plus, we want to hear about what kind of events you would like to see in the future: Classes? Themed swaps? Culinary tours? What expertise is out there in our own community? How can we best learn from one another?
So please join us for a swap and a conversation about the future of the Chicago Food Swap.
Our host is Mac & Cheese Productions, located at 3320 N. Ravenswood. There are two Ravenswoods, split by the Metra tracks. Mac & Cheese is on the WEST side of the tracks. The front of the building is an architecture firm, "Stoneberg Architects." On north side of building, look for a ceramic planter and walk down that path to get to the entrance.
- Emily will compile the recipes the week after the event and distribute them to the attendees.
- All participants will bring home a fun gift bag filled with products and coupons from great food-related businesses, including past sponsors and hosts.
- Raffle prizes, including a Ball FreshTECH Automatic Jam and Jelly Maker
- Tickets will be refunded so long as you cancel with one week's notice.
