Chicago Film Premiere: Morgenthau
Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (CST)
Always do the right thing and you’ll never have any regrets.
— Robert M. Morgentau
Three generations of Morgenthaus share a zeal for justice against the backdrop of the 20th century’s most dramatic moments. Award-winning documentarian Max Lewkowicz interviews historians, journalists, and politicians including President Bill Clinton, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and journalist and author Tom Brokaw.
Dr. Tony Michels, Professor of Jewish History at University of WI, Madison, will introduce the film and lead a post-show discussion.
This program is part of Sunday Cinema, in which 5 fascinating films about Jewish lives are shown over 4 Sundays in January and February. See spertus.edu/film to find out more.
Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership offers dynamic learning opportunities, rooted in Jewish wisdom and culture and open to all.
