Chicago Fest West in Mesa, AZ April 30th 2023 Music, Food, Fun

Chicago Fest West, a Chicago themed outdoor festival is scheduled for April 30th 2023 at Mesa Riverview Park just east of the Chicago Cubs Spring Training Stadium at 2100 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201. The outdoor festival will feature everything Chicago including tribute bands Surrender - The Cheap Trick Experience , “Chicago Uncorked" Dance Cover Band, Bluesman Mike and the Blues Review, and much more www.chicagofestwest.com.

There will be plenty of Chicago culture, food tents and trucks, arts & crafts booths, vendors, sports memorabilia, neighborhood pavilions with Chicago style ethnic foods, youth art exhibits, chalk artists, a Chicago graffiti artist, a vintage car show, sports dignitaries like Jim McMahon and Bill Melton, and other live entertainment throughout the weekend. Shop on our own Michigan Avenue where you will find leather goods, jewelry and art work for all tastes. Tickets are $22.00 pre-purchased and $26.00 at the gate. This second year event is being presented by College Bound, www.collegeboundaz.org (cbaz.org) an Arizona non-profit 501c3 organization that helps underserved youth achieve their dream of a brighter future through a college education. The Chicago Fest West is a one day event held on April 30th; however, College Bound AZ envisions it growing into an annual weekend Arizona event similar to the South by Southwest Austin festival and to be their annual signature fundraising event for the non-profit. In addition, the Chicago Fest West VIP Party tickets $100.00 per person held a week prior to the larger Chicago Fest West starts at 5:00 pm on April 22nd, 2023 and includes a more personal venue of 250 Chicagoans with dinner and a drink that is catered by Portillos, Lou Malnati's, and Tom's BBQ, all Chicago traditions. The VIP Party evening event will feature music by the Blues Brother's Band, Bluesman Mike and the Blues Review and Chicago cover dance music by DJ Memo. This Chicago Fest West VIP Party will be held at Modern Moments. 3335 E. Baseline Road in Gilbert, AZ . There will be Chicago Celebs like Bill Melton of the Chicago White Sox and Jim McMahon Super Bowl Quarterback of the Bears. The event is hosted by College Bound AZ a non-profit that helps underserved youth achieve their dream through education support. Be prepared for a night of Chicago Blues and Dance with great food for all.
